About the event
We'd love you to join us on Thursday 30 October as we pray some big and powerful prayers for Light Party 2026.
Here's what we're praying for while we fast:
Lord, You are Light itself - thank You that in You there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). May Your transforming presence be known and experienced at our Light Parties.
Lord, thank You that Your light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it (John 1:5). We pray that You would break any power of darkness over people’s lives - that they would know true freedom in You Lord.
Lord, we pray that Your light would shine brightly through us. May Your joy, peace, and love be released throughout our Light Parties, and in homes, schools, workplaces … may Your goodness be seen and felt.
Lord, we pray that eyes would be opened to see Your glory and truth (Romans 1). Dispel fear and darkness - bring hope where there is heaviness, and impart Your love. Shine through us, Lord, so that Your Name is glorified.
