Practice Manager - Little London Medical Clinic

We have a unique opportunity for the right candidate to join well-established practice with a great team of dedicated doctors and nurses. They pride themselves on their service, team culture, and professionalism in all aspects of the business. They have become a cornerstone in the Healthcare sector in Hamilton City and are now looking to grow and evolve ensuring they are the number one choice.

This is a busy leadership position that will cover several domains including team leadership, HR management, business management, operational support and the general operations of their busy and successful practice.

- A relevant tertiary qualification (ideally in health management)
- At least 3+ years’ management experience
- Excellent financial management skills and be comfortable operating accounting packages in a practice setting
- Strong experience in Human Resources and payroll in a practice setting.
- A passion for diversity and inclusion.
- A customer service orientation and emphasis on team cohesion and shared outcomes
- A desire to understand and appreciate Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in our Practice and how it shapes our efforts.

Communications Coordinator - Activate Faith Community Trust

3 Days PW (Flexible hours)

We are looking for a Communications Coordinator to support the growth and service delivery of the Activate Faith Community Trust entities including - Community Link Trust, Little London Medical Clinic, Activate Developments, Activate Community, Activate Training Centre, and Activate Church

In addition to coordinating marketing and communications activity, we are looking for someone who can write and create quality content, and who can provide results-driven support to each AFCT entity to help them achieve their goals. 

Do you have the following skills? 

  • You are a great writer.
    You will be writing scripts, emails, ad copy, flyer content, website content, training resources, booklet content and more. You'll be writing for a wide variety of audiences in lots of different contexts so you'll need to have keen insight, empathy and creativity. Your outstanding communication skills will be put to good use and your spelling and grammar nouse already spotted the mistakes in this ad.
  • You are an excellent organiser.
    You will be juggling a large number of balls in the air and then making them all land in the right places at the right times. Each day will be filled with coordinating projects between clients and suppliers, creating content for multiple clients, managing content across multiple advertising channels, and making everything work into deadlines that are tighter than seem possible. Your initiative, self-management, planning and organisational skills will need to be sharp!

Administrator - Community Link Trust

We are looking for a committed, motivated and skilled administrator to join our CommunityLink Trust team.  We have a part-time opportunity available starting at 5 hours per week with PropertyLink, but do expect this role to grow in hours fairly quickly.  This is a varied role, where no two days are the same!

GP - Little London Medical Clinic

Little London Medical Clinic is a boutique general medical practice in central Hamilton city overlooking the beautiful Waikato awa. We are Hamilton’s longest established GP practice, bringing the best in care and support for the health and wellbeing of our patients and community for well over 100 years. 

We are looking for a general practitioner (0.6-0.8FTE) to join our team. In this role, you’ll deliver patient-centred GP services and will be supported by our wonderful nursing and reception teams. You’ll leverage your clinical experience and your passion for family medicine to ensure our patients receive consistently excellent care.

TeenLink Youth Mentor - Community Link Trust

Full-time, Casual, Part-time

We are looking for male mentors over the age of 20. No official qualifications are needed; we accept life experience. As a paid mentor, you would be passionate about young people and resilient as you encounter challenging attitudes and behaviours. You'll spend one-on-one time with a young person and help them with decision making, problem-solving, social interactions, building self-esteem, processing different emotions and sometimes re-engaging them in education. Each engagement is activity-based, out in the community and conversations are had alongside this. Our heart for mentoring is to help the voice of the young person be heard; often there are so many adults and professionals in and around the life of the young person and their voice gets lost. We want to help them find hope, feel valued, raise them up and launch them out into all they were destined to do and be. This is paid employment which also carries a rich reward in helping others. Hours are negotiable, but you will need your own car and a full licence to drive your mentee's around between the hours of 9am-5pm.
